St. George's students loved hearing about their penpals! They got to know the schoolbags they take to school every day and the school supplies they carry inside.

Lieurey, you've got mail!

Lieurey's students loved the gift from their Portuguese friends and they are very grateful. The game sent by teacher Joana was also very successful. All teachers are very satisfied with the project!

Arouca, you've got mail!

Students from Arouca loved getting to know their penpals animals. They were very happy and excited about the letters received!

What time is it in Rossas?

Rossas students learned how to tell the time and daily routines in English. They wanted to show this knowledge describing the routines of a school day. They also created a Valentine's Day card to give to their friends with a beautiful poem about friendship.

Arouca's students learned some vocabulary about school supplies and decided to show their schoolbags to their penpals. Besides taking a photo with their schoolbags, they described what they take to school every day. They are sure that their correspondents will love it!

 

And the winner is...

The logo proposals were placed on the padlet for voting until January 31st. And this was the winning proposal with 4091 votes. We thank everyone for their creativity and commitment in carrying out the work. Now we have a logo for our project.

Students from Pólo Escolar de Rossas and EB1 de Arouca wrote a very special letter to their penpals in which they present some preferences: my favorite fruit, food, football team, Disney character,... 

We hope our correspondents enjoy this surprise! 

They also sent a small offer. It is a ruler that can help them with Mathematics or Arts tasks. This souvenir was created and offered by a company from Arouca, CAMARC, to whom we are very grateful.
