April 25th

Hello! Today it was a special day. The two schools of Lieurey and Saint Georges du Vievre got together to get to know each other better and celebrate April 25th. We are thinking a lot about you! The students participated in several activities: dances, the history of April 25th, making cloves, a quiz on Portuguese culture, and a Portuguese snack with juice and pastéis de nata. Students loved it!

Easter letters II

The French students from St. Georges sent letters at Easter. Portuguese students loved receiving news from their penpals.  They were very happy and they are looking forward to meeting their penpals in person. Just look at the enthusiasm!

Easter letters I

Hello! Easter is almost here and the Portuguese students have prepared a letter to send. The 3rd grade class at Escola de Arouca is working on the family unit and has prepared a presentation about their family, including their pets! The 4th grade class at Escola de Rossas is working on the food unit and wanted to tell their correspondents what food they liked and disliked. The students worked very hard on this project. We hope you enjoy it!
